NOTE: These instructions assume that you know the article's author, title and journal title.

STEP 1. Search to see if the journal title and the actual article you need are available in the Buswell or Graham libraries.

First, search for the Journal Title in Wheaton's online journal collection. If the journal title and year you need is available, click on the link to the full-text source to find the article:

If the journal article is not available, then search for the Journal Title in the Wheaton College catalog. The journal title and volume or year you need may be physically located in the Buswell or Graham Collections either on current periodical shelves, in microform, or in bound volumes on the compact shelves.

In the above steps, be sure to search for the journal title, NOT the article title. Once you have confirmed that the material is unavailable, please proceed to the next step.

STEP 2. Locate the record for your article in one of the databases the Library provides, and place a request from there.

Select a database to search from the drop down list below. In most databases click on the icon to place a request.

Submitting your request this way will save you time and assure the accuracy of the article information that you submit. If you found your article in one of our databases originally, it may be worth your time to return to it, find the article again and use this request feature.

STEP 3. If you cannot request your article through a database, use the Library's Online Request Form.
