A.  MyAccount featuresIllinet Online banner
The MyAccount function of Illinet Online displays information about your library record and activity. It also provides the means of identifying you as you request items from other libraries. It may be worth your while to login when using the catalog, though if you are on a public workstation you should be sure to log out.

Patron Login box B. Patron Login
Use the barcode on your college ID card to login to MyAccount, which enables you to place requests, to renew books, to access your Remembered Searches and Remembered Titles, or to set up your search Preferences.  If you are not logged in, the Login window will display when you select MyAccount, Request or Login.

Once logged in, you will see various components of MyAccount. Some of them require only periodic interaction, while others will be used more frequently.

MyBookBag Features
E. MyBookbag
Through MyBookbag you can create and store a list of selected titles from one or more searches. Once stored in MyBookbag you can print or email the list. Up to 1000 items can be stored in MyBookbag, and will remain there until deleted. If you intend to select records from more than one page, you must click the "Continue Selecting Records" button before moving to another page; otherwise, your selections will be lost. When you are done selecting, be sure you choose the "Selected on all pages" option in the "Print / Download / Email / Store Options" box. Titles added to MyBookbag are not signed out of the library or in any way reserved for your use.

MySearches Features
F. MySearches (Saved Search Strategies)
One of most useful tools located in MyAccount is MySearches. From your MySearches page, you can re-execute saved searches immediately, and can request regular reminders to re-execute searches in the future.  You can be reminded weekly, biweekly, or monthly. The maximum number of searches that can be saved is 25. Searches are saved separately in each library catalog. If you saved a search in the "All ILCSO Libraries" catalog you will not see it listed on the MySearches page in your local library's catalog. To change to another catalog in which you may have saved a search, click the "ILCSOLibraries" button on the top or bottom toolbar.
